Welcome to my project

My project is about the landmarks of Castlebar - I would like to introduce you, wherever you are in the world to the many famous landmarks in my town and who knows it might encourage you to come and visit. We know you won't be disappointed!

The Mall

The most famous landmark in Castlebar has to be the The Mall and it is also steeped in history. It was once the cricket pitch of Lord Lucan. It is here in the town park that you will find the 1798 Monument, which has erected on the 150th anniversary of the 1798 rising  more here.
